This website belongs to Site Specific, a web design service run by Robert Blonski. This policy explains what personal data the site handles and why.

By using this site, you agree to the practices described below.

Information We Collect

Cookies & Consent

This site uses a consent bar with Accept and Deny options. Your choice is saved in a small cookie so the site can remember it for one year.

  • Necessary cookies: required for the site to function, such as basic security and remembering your consent choice.
  • Optional features: your choice also controls visit statistics, described below. Clicking Deny switches them off.

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the small icon in the bottom corner of every page.

Visit Statistics

This site keeps its own private log of page views, to understand how people use it and to recognise automated traffic. A small script on each page records:

  • Your IP address
  • Country and approximate city, derived from your IP address
  • The pages you view and how long each page stays open
  • Browser, operating system and device type
  • The website that referred you, if any
  • Date and time of the visit

This log does not use tracking cookies. It is stored only on this site’s server and is automatically deleted after 30 days. To determine approximate location, your IP address is sent to an external IP geolocation service. It is not shared with anyone else, and it is never used for advertising or profiling.

The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest: understanding how the site is used and keeping it secure. If you click Deny on the consent bar, no further visits are recorded, and the record of your current visit is deleted.

Contact Form

If you send a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address and whatever you write. This is used only to reply to you and, if you become a client, to work on your project. It is not added to any mailing list.

Analytics

This site does not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking or marketing tools. Visit statistics are self-hosted and described above.

Hosting

The site is hosted by a commercial hosting provider, whose servers store the site and the data described in this policy. Your data is not sold or shared for any other purpose.

Data Protection

We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption across the entire site and limited access to personal data. No system is completely secure, but industry-standard safeguards are in place.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR in Europe and PIPEDA in Canada, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Change or withdraw your consent choice at any time
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest, including by clicking Deny on the consent bar
  • File a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, please use the contact form on this website.
